Ajay Devgan starrer ‘Drishyam 2’ has reached the theaters today. Significantly, this film is the sequel of the actor’s 2015 film ‘Drishyam’. The fans were eagerly waiting for this film. Today when the film came on the big screen, the audience has welcomed it with open arms. The first day collection of the film seems to indicate something similar. Ajay Devgn returns to the audience once again as Vijay Salgaokar in the suspense-crime drama Drishyam 2 directed by Abhishek Pathak. Apart from the old starcast Tabu, Shriya Saran and Ishita Dutta, film star Akshaye Khanna is also seen in the film. ‘Drishyam 2’ has earned more than expected in the opening day. According to the initial media reports, ‘Drishyam 2’ has collected Rs 14 crores in India on the first day. According to reports, the film has been made in a budget of around Rs 50 crore. In that sense, the first day collection of the film is fantastic.

Looking at the first day collection coming in the initial reports, the film is currently a little behind the opening day collection of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. According to reports, Karthik Aryan’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ collected Rs 14.11 crore on the first day. However, the budget of this film is also more than Ajay Devgan’s ‘Drishyam 2’ (around Rs 80 crore). Looking at today’s earnings of ‘Drishyam 2’, it can be said that the collection is going to increase further on both the coming days i.e. Saturday and Sunday.
